This occupancy is the use of a building where six or more persons at any one time occupy a space for educational purposes through the 12th grade, including day care facilities with certain exceptions for small sizes or mutliple uses. Our gallery documents interior features typical of many high schools and colleges in the United States, but company personnel have documented similar spaces in Europe and Scandinavia. Specialty building elements include seating, air conditioning and heating systems, storage systems, and plumbing systems for instructional programs in classrooms. One classroom devoted to instruction in food preparation even has an array of appliances for student use.
