The Helsingborg site produces the world’s entire supply of a medication that helps manage addiction to nicotine. A subsidiary of an American-owned corporation, this facility includes some of the most sophisticated energy management and conservation systems I have observed in my years of design and consulting. At the time of the shoot the owner was migrating from local energy generation to district heating and cooling. Some of the equipment shown was decommissioned shortly after my visit - amazing to have recorded it as it was.
